Create or update your resume to target it to your chosen career.

• Follow the Resume Guide tips to highlight your training, skills, and experience related to your new career.
• Scan job postings to see which skills, knowledge, and other qualities employers look for in your new career field.
• Integrate these keywords into your resume.
• Ask at least two people to proofread your resume, or contact an American Job Center near you to request a resume review.
• On your worksheet: Note important keywords for your new career to use in future applications and interviews.
