How to: Find career ideas

Research careers

Look closely at the career matches from your assessments.

• Review the list of favorite careers you've made from each assessment. Do any careers show up twice? Do any ideas stand out to you?
• Identify your overall favorite matches and look closely at their Career Profiles to fill in the worksheet.
• On your worksheet: Write in up to 8 career titles that are your overall top matches. For each career, write out details to compare them:
  • The major tasks or work activities people do in the career
  • The job outlook, typical annual wages (median), and education needed
  • Based on your assessment results, whether the career matches your interests, skills, or values
