Connect with your local job center

Connect with an American Job Center near you for job search help and reemployment training funds.

• Look up your closest American Job Centers (AJCs) and contact or visit one to ask about reemployment services and training. AJCs provide free services to help people search for jobs, find training, and more.
• Ask if you might be eligible for programs such as the dislocated worker program or funds for short-term training.
• Check out their free job search workshops, computer and printer access, and connections to other community services.
• On your worksheet: List the location and phone number of your nearest AJC, and name of employment counselor you will meet with.
