American Civil Liberties Union of Utah
Purposes: The ACLU of Utah will be giving out three scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to eligible college bound Utah high school seniors. The scholarship will be awarded to those who have demonstrated a strong commitment to civil liberties through some form of activism. Past scholarship winners have come from many parts of Utah, and their civil liberties work has included programs and activities that advocate for racial diversity, rights of disabled students, women's equality, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, and equality for all.

Purposes: Applicants must also be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study, pursuing a certificate or degree in a non-medical STEM or business-related field, at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.

Northwest Pipe Company
Purposes:

Northwest Pipe Company is offering up to six $2,500 scholarships to eligible students residing within 50 miles of its facilities in California, Missouri, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, or West Virginia. Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll in full-time study at an accredited vocational-technical school in their state for the upcoming academic year. To qualify, students must be pursuing certification as a welder, electrician, industrial mechanic, or mobile mechanic.  

Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility 
requirements.
