Purpose
The Fresh Start Scholarship awards two recipients $1,500 each per year,
split across a spring and fall cycle, for a total annual value of $3,000.
Funds are disbursed directly to the recipient's accredited institution. The
scholarship is administered through an independent 501(c)(3) community
foundation partner.
Focus
- Pursuing a degree in emergency management, environmental science,
construction management, civil engineering, public safety, disaster
preparedness, or a related field
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or accepted at an accredited two-year, four-year,
or trade institution
- Pursuing a degree in emergency management, environmental science,
construction management, civil engineering, public safety, disaster
preparedness, or a related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
